How to Touch Up Your Hairline and Roots in 2 Minutes

You're out the door in five minutes, you glance in the mirror, and there it is: roots showing, or a part that looks a little thinner than you'd like. Good news: you don't need a salon visit to fix the look.

What you'll need

  • A powder touch-up in a shade close to your hair (we love Haloline for this)
  • A clean, dry hairline

Step by step

  1. Start with dry hair. Part your hair the way you'll wear it.
  2. Pick your shade. Choose the one closest to your natural colour. When in doubt, go a touch lighter, you can always build.
  3. Dab, don't drag. Press the sponge lightly along the part or hairline in small taps.
  4. Blend. Use a clean fingertip or brush to soften the edges so it looks natural.
  5. Build if needed. Add a second light layer rather than one heavy one.

Tips

  • Less is more. Light layers look the most natural.
  • Keep it away from rain and sweat when you can, and wash it out at the end of the day.
  • Try it at home once before a big event, so you know your shade and your routine.

Haloline is made for exactly this kind of quick fix. Find your shade and make your mornings easier.
