Peel-Off Lip Stain: What It Is and How to Use It

If you like the idea of a soft flush of colour without a heavy lipstick feel, a peel-off lip stain might be for you.

What it is

You paint on a thin layer, let it set, then peel it off. What's left is a soft, stained look rather than a thick layer of product.

How to use Petal Peel

  1. Prep your lips. Start with clean, dry lips.
  2. Apply a thin, even layer. Don't go too thick, a thin layer sets and peels more easily.
  3. Wait for it to set. Give it a few minutes to dry completely.
  4. Peel. Start at one corner and lift gently.
  5. Finish how you like. Wear it as is, or add a gloss or balm on top.

Choosing your shade

  • Light Pink: a soft, barely-there flush
  • Cool Rose: a natural rosy tone
  • Hot Pink: a bolder pop of colour

Tips

  • Thin layers are the secret.
  • Keep it in your bag for quick touch-ups.
  • Not sure which shade? The Set of 3 lets you try all of them.
